Are you able to connect an external monitor just to make sure is not a hardware problem? And if you go into the BIOS or in safe mode do you see the pixels?
You can connect an external monitor or a TV through the HDMI or the Mini Display port, you just need to connect the cable and go to devices and select the second screen options.

Yes, the pixels are still messed up in safe mode. And I do not know how to set up an external monitor to it.
