Alienware 17 help - Graphics card or something messed up
Help, my screen is messed up. Pixels are discolored, and I know it is not the screen since they shift around when I move things. They are not fixed. I have tried changing the graphics card settings (involving restarts). It happened a little while ago, but it slowly resolved itself back to normal after about 20 minutes of being on, but now it is back and wont go away. I updated my driver and did everything I could think of.

Are you able to connect an external monitor just to make sure is not a hardware problem? And if you go into the BIOS or in safe mode do you see the pixels?

Yes, the pixels are still messed up in safe mode. And I do not know how to set up an external monitor to it.

You can connect an external monitor or a TV through the HDMI or the Mini Display port, you just need to connect the cable and go to devices and select the second screen options.
