Hi,
First you can try a power drain, check the following video that will show you how to do it:
www.youtube.com/watch
You can also try with an external keyboard and use it to reinstall the driver in Device Manager.
Let me know if you need something else!

Following this suggestion, I did a power drain and after reconnecting the cable there was still no keyboard functionality. I called customer support over lunch and a technician is going to be contacting me to replace the keyboard.
