Alienware 17 r3 No recovery partition
Hi I have a Alienware 17 r3 with a SSD boot (UEFI) I am trying to do a reset tu factory defaults but it comes back with an error could not find recovery partition. Ok so i created a windows 10 USB boot drive, i reboot the laptop and it does not see my boot drive (USB) so I go in the BIOS but cant see an option to boot from USB??
My system is UEFI so I dont know what to do from here.
1- Why Alien Respawn was not installed ?
2- Why dont I have a recovery partition?

Hi,
Are you trying to use Alien Respawn to do the factory reset? Look for a program in your system called Dell Backup & Recovery and try to do it with that one.
