Alienware 17 vs Inspiron 17R
Hi,
Im considering buying a replacement for my M15x and not being completely up on hardware im struggling to see where the difference in price of the following systems comes from. On the one hand the Alienware 17 is £1798.99, whereas a similar spec Inspiron 17R SE is £829.00. Now obviously the Alienware has a better graphics card and more memory but £969.99 worth of difference???? Am i missing something fundamental here to justify the price of the Alienware? Or is it just the brand/case/lighting etc.

Yes definitely 89fordprobee is right, Alienware M17x will have better performance because it has better hardware.

alienware has 4th gen I7 cpu..(just released
Better wireless card
More Ram
Faster although smaller mechanical hard drive
better warranty
FAR SUPERIOR Current model video
17R SE
Older generation cpu
Older Generation video card that's slower then my tablet video card
