Alienware Alpha Lighting Zone Issues
Hello everyone,
Starting a week or two ago I have been having an issue with the lighting effects on my Alienware Alpha. When I first turn it on the lights function fine bit within a few seconds they turn off. The only way to get them to stay on is to boot to desktop and go into the AlienFX software and change the color and hit apply / save. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried reinstalling the Command Center using the download from the Alpha driver page, but that didn't do any good.

For anyone with a similar issue, I did resolve this. I found a post on the Alienware Arena forums stating that this is an issue with the PC going to sleep while in console mode. Basically all I had to do was boot to console mode, select "Sleep" from the power options, wait a few seconds, and wake the PC. My lights work fine now.
