Alienware Aurora Power Management Problems

Hi Everyone,

I'm having some ongoing problems with my Alienware Aurora that I was hoping someone could help me with.

Pretty much every time I start up my PC, after a few minutes my screen says 'entering power saving mode' and then switches off. This happens whether I'm using the system or not. The screen never turns back on again and the only thing I can do is hold the power button down until the PC switches off. I know it's not the screen because I plugged another screen in and the same thing happened.

Likewise, I have lighting effects on my PC and often when I shut down the PC, the PC will shut down but the lighting effects will still be on. Sometimes the PC shuts down but it's still clearly on, just inoperable.

Obviously this is an issue with the PC and some people I've spoken to have suggested it's a problem with the power management system.

If someone could please provide some assistance that would be great.
