Alienware Aurora-R3, no boot

My Alienware Aurora-R3 is showing a diagnostic menu when it passes the Alienware logo? When you try to use the window disc to reinstall the OS, it gives an error message 0xE0000100. What do I do to fix the problem?

Run Dell Diags.

Either from F12 boot menu, boot your CD/DVD or create a new bootable one on working computer.

If OS will not install without error, I suggest you test your hardware first.

Dell Diags will check your computer hardware.

Those errors sounds like a bad motherboard ... maybe getting worse now (with this new problem).

Try re-seating motherboard components. If you still can't install Windows fresh ... try a known-good working hard-drive instead.

Sounds more like a motherboard, problem ... trying a different HDD was a last resort.

Didn't know you had a raid, but procedure is the same. Disconnect your current (raided) drives. They will be frozen in time and untouched while you troubleshoot.

Install a known good HDD and troubleshoot system.
