Have you tried using the latest driver from the AMD site for your GPU? If not, click here for the download link. Also, try flashing the latest Bios firmware, click here for the Bios download link. After doing this, test the system to confirm if it crashes again.
Hey Rodrigo, thanks for the suggestions. I installed the newest drivers and the new Bios and it doesn't seem to have fixed it. I was prompted to reboot the computer after the Bios firmware installed. When I did, the system did not start in that it failed to finish the POST. It emitted 6 beeps which I looked up, meaning a Video Card failure. However, I restarted the computer and it booted up fine but it still crashes during the games.
Unfortunately, it sounds like a possible video card failure. To rule out the possibility of it being a software issue, like a driver conflict, you could try running an Alien Respawn system recovery. This will restore your system to factory settings and reinstall Windows (make sure to back up your data if you are going to try this). Click here to view a Dell article that explains how to restore your system to factory settings using Alien Respawn.
I tried a factory reset, but there was no difference. It still crashed while I was playing. My computer is still under warranty, so what should I do from here?
