Alienware Aurora R4 Trusted Platform Module?

Just wondering if it has one, Vista currently says there isn't one available, I upgraded to A11 BIOS so I'm pretty sure there is no TPM.

Is there a option to install one i have the 0FPV4P motherboard,  If there is what one would work? there is a dell one on ebay but I'm not sure if you need a specific TPM for a specific motherboard.

Thanks.

There is not one that I know of (in any Alienware desktop).

What exact Intel processor model is installed in your Aurora machine?

Are you sure it's a R4?

Why are you running Windows Vista?

That is a business-class machine feature. Why do you think you need TPM?

Hello Telsa,

I have a 4960x, it's a R4,

Windows 7 is a stripped down vista sp 2.5 with bugger all features and just feels like a beta IMO, I have also noticed the features on my alienware actulley work's properly now on Vista, The chipset driver worked flawlessly, the Command centre no longer crash'es alienfx works great, Active venting does what i tell it etc etc.

I know that, But i want to use the feature because why not?
