Alienware Aurora R5 how to upgrade i5 to i7 and ram upgrade help.
Hello Alienware community, this will be my first alienware aurora R5. I ordered the i5-6400 model with 8gb ram and a geoforce gtx970. I'm looking to upgrade the i5 to a i76800k and ram to 32gb. Is replacing the i5 hard to replace, sorry for the stupied question, i just dont want to screw it up. Also what would you guys recommend me for 32gb ram the cheap on price. Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately the i7-6800k won't work on this model, since it uses a different socket. The maximum CPU supported by the Aurora R5 is the i7-6700k.
