Alienware Aurora - Turns on with no display
Alienware Aurora turns on but there is no display. I have tried two different monitors and leads. I cannot try running in Safe Mode as there is no display.

The power lights appear to be steady, however, the caps lock key produces no response.
I have reseated all of the above and the graphics card. No change.

Hi hontoir,
If the power LED is steady on the tower and LED on the monitor is on or blinking amber, press caps lock key on the keyboard and check the response. Reply with the status.
Also reseat memory, HDD, CD/DVD drive and check. Click on the link below for service manual.

Hello hontoir!
Have you tried testing the video card in a different port?

Resetting the cmos battery allowed the computer to boot and there was display. Once I had connected the keyboard it continued to boot and then the display stopped working again.
