Alienware Function Keys(Specifically FN+F7 and FN+F8)

Question

I was getting rid of some unnecessary start up programs the other day on my M14x and turned off something that made the volume shortcuts on my keyboard stop working (FN+F7 and FN+F8). I can still use all the other FN shortcuts, only the volume control buttons don't work.(No icon shows up when I change the brightness anymore though). I tried searching for a way to fix this issue for about a week now and even tried to go back and turn on all my startup programs again, but so far nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi! Try to re-install the OSD driver (On-screen Display). If issue persists, I recommend you do a System Restore.  Let me know how it goes!

When I try to uninstall it, the Install Shield Wizard pops up, loads halfway, and closes. I tried uninstalling it numerous times and it keeps crashing halfway through load. The OSD is still in my programs list. Do I need to download an Uninstaller for this?

Try to uninstall if from Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly at start up to access). If it still doesn't I would recommend using System Restore.
