Alienware M14X Problems

Hi,

I recently bought an Alienware M14X, paying lots of money for it, and expecting it to be of high quality. But I have to say that I'm very dissapointed in Dell/Alienware.

The Wifi card is really cruddy. I can't connect to ANY wifi hotspots that I've tried. The only way it works is by bringing the laptop directly next to the router and connecting from there. Then I can move around, but it's very sensitive. I'm using the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 driver, the one that came pre-installed, and the one that I found on the dell website. The internet goes well once connected but it's unacceptable that I have to be right next to a router to actually connect. Even with high signals.

The next thing is the locked BIOS. Why on earth is the BIOS locked? I'm not a child, I know
how to use the BIOS settings. So why is it locked, and why can't I find a way to unlock it? It's already up to date. There's nothing more I can do.

I'm actually thinking of asking for my money back for this  laptop. Shame on you Dell for messing up a good laptop.
