Alienware M14X R1 Graphics and Framerate issues
My laptop is having some serious framerate issues that I cant seem to fix. I have done everything I can with the Nvidia control panel, I have updated drivers, done everything I can think of, what else is there to do? I am running WarZ at about 10fps on all low quality, I can barely run Blacklight Retribution or Tera right now its rediulous. Tera goes at about 10 fps at best on low settings. What could be the issue?
Also, when I do my dxdiag it says that I am using my intel GPU not my Nvidia one, what the??
Here are my specs.
GT 555M 3GB Video Card
Intel i7-2720 Quad Core @ 2.20 GHz 8G of RAM
DX11

Also, My computer is hot to the touch on the back, like very hot.

Have you checked the temperatures?

I have exactly the same problem, same hardware too. even the simplest of games like an indie game or arcade game won't run smoothly. I'm at a loss here :(
