Alienware M14X Trusted platform module chip? (TPM Chip)
Hi guys,
I recently buy ths laptop and I´m want to connect to my work network, as a security measure I have to enable bitlocker when I try to it says that I need a TPM chip and stops encripting the hard drive.
Do any of you know if this model has a "TPM Chip" and if so how to enable it

No need to stress Jackmeove, a lot of the Dell latitude and precision laptops have a TPM.
You should be able to pickup a second hand Latitude with a third gen CPU for around $500.
I understand your frustration at Alienware not having them but these laptops are more aimed at gaming, the TPM is more of a business feature than a gaming one, that being said the new precision laptops have awesome graphics (4GB DDR5) and a TPM as well as a few other security feature (encryption) you may find useful, its just a pity the sales rep you spoke to when ordering this unit did not guide you toward something like a precision as it sounds like that is a lot more suited to your needs than Alienware
