Alienware M14x Subwoofer not Working
I bought Alienware M14x R1 two months ago and everything was running fine but when i updated the Realtek HD audio driver, im not getting sound from Klipsch® speakers, no subwoofer etc, only im getting a poor quality sound.I downgraded the Realtek HD audio drivers, updated the BIOS,
But i donot know what is the problem with it.

You probably need to make a system restore to a date before the issue started. Here is how.

I tried but the system restore protection was off, so when i on that it says there is no restore points available.
What should i do now ?

I'm gonna say it's software since it sounds like it was working fine until you updated. Did you try a full uninstall and reinstall of the Realtek HD driver? Also, did you try both the Dell driver and the one from Realtek?

I tried full uninstall, reinstall of the realtek HD driver.but didnot worked.

Tried but still cant see any difference, i also reinstalled drivers from Resource DVD.
So what u recommend ?

I would try Respawn or full Windows installation.

If i restore to the factory state, what are the files that will be deleted with it.
or just only system files will be restored?

Everything will be deleted. You need to do a backup first.

hi.i bought my m14x 3 months ago,subwoofers started after i installed codecs.I have redone the whole laptop formatted and reinstalled windows and all drivers with no success still distorted like a loose wire or something.please help?
