Alienware M17x doesn't open up, but lights up.
I opened my laptop for the first time in like 3 months, and the alienFX turned on for like a second, then when off again and the computer didn't boot.
I tried to take out and put back the battery, but that still didn't work.

What is the exact model?
Yes, pull battery, press power a few times. THEN re-install it. Check AC adapter.
If CMOS battery died, might take further messing with to get it to BIOS-Post.
