Alienware M17x keyboard hinge clip attachment

Hi I took out the clips and keys of my laptop to clean the circuitry board. I was going to return the keyboard hinge clips to the laptop keyboard only to find out that the hinge clips for the arrow keys, space bar and letter keys look the same but have different size fits. Is there a way to differentiate the hinges from one another since if I use the wrong type of combination (since a keyboard clip contains 2 different pieces) the keyboard key wont fit.
