Alienware MX 14 R2 (2013 edition) will not boot to Windows.
After finishing my new desktop build, I decided to "Factory reset" my Alienware MX14 R2 notebook back to Windows 8. Everything was running fine for a few days and then I turn my notebook on and get this: " Your PC needs to be repaired, a required device isn't connected or can't be accessed" Error code:0xc0000225.
After completing the "Factory reset" I forgot to change my Windows update settings to: " Check for updates but, let me decide when to download and install", and I get the dreaded Windows 10 upgrade update. As I have done on all my machines, I found the update (KB3035583) and uninstalled it, only this time when I did, the screen "flashed" and the icons I had pinned to the task-bar disappeared for a second and then reappeared. I thought it was odd but didn't think to much about it. Then I notice I can not access my Windows Explorer tab and I get a message that my version of Windows needs to be activated. This version of Windows 8 came pre-installed and has been activated for years now.
The next morning, I tried to boot the notebook up and get the blue screen with the error mentioned above. OK...luckily I had done a back up (on a USB stick) before I uninstalled the Windows 10 update and all the crazy stuff mentioned above started happening. I booted with the usb stick, tried to do a system recovery through Alienware Respawn and now I get this code: "Error: 0x4001001300001002 If this issue persists, please contact Dell Support". I have read in Microsoft forums that this error code usually happens after using the Media Tool but, that's not the case with me. I used the back up image I created through Alienware Backup and recovery.
What do I do next?
**UPDATE**
I tried to reinstall Windows 8 using the Media tool just to see what would happen and I am getting this: "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing."

Hi,
Just to confirm, did your system come with Windows 8.1 preinstalled?

No. It came with Windows 8 pre-installed, then I upgraded to 8.1 through the store.

I tried to boot up with the with the USB stick I had the system back up on and it would load the Alien Respawn but, after 35/40 mins of loading, it would give me the error: " The partition is not accessible..........bla bla bla. Then it would reboot to the blue "your PC needs repair" screen.
I just gave up and took it to Geek Squad this morning and he basically told my that "somehow" my partition with my OS on it had been deleted and that my hardware was still good. The only way to resolve it was to buy an OS and do a clean install. I didn't think to ask about all the pre-installed Alienware programs such as, Respawn, command center and so forth. How would I get those back?
Im going to do a clean install later today. I will post an update when finished.

Hi,
Did you receive any Windows media in a disk or a USB drive?
