Alienware MX14 R2 Audio Jacks not working [Windows 10}

Sound Blaster Recon3Di Doesn't seem to detect headphones plugged into the system

Driver info

Provider: CREATIVE

Driver Date: 7/21/2015

Driver Ver: 6.0.100.2056

This was the newest update that it installed today from the Previous driver i had. I've upgraded from windows 7 to 10.

-Tried rolling back uninstalling and reinstalling. It doesn't detect it at all on the front two ports but initially downloaded driver on the 3rd(still wouldn't produce sound though)

Its early and most likely the driver hasn't been updated for this just wanted to bring attention if anyone else is having similar issues.

hey guys, I finally got mine to work after awhile, I completely removed all audio drivers from my system

and after a reboot i installed the latest drivers from creative and i think that's what fixed the issue for me.

heres the file name i really hope it helps you guys. I got it right from their site. If it doesnt i have a few other files you could try one from the m17x

Audio_Creative_W74_5NJ7K_A01-Setup_ZPE

If you cant find the file i could try and upload it to dropbox for you.

I had no sound coming out of headphones since upgrading to windows 10 on my alienware m14 x2, but its fixed now thanks to reading another comment, all you have to do is go to dell driver support and look up drivers for the alienware m17, that has the latest windows 10 driver from soundblaster, not sure of its full name but its got the word Malcom in it,  use that driver on the m14 it works perfect, hope this helps, it certainly helped me

Just for the records:

I have made a upgrade through windows 8, to activate the free offer. Next I made a clean install.

In each state I haven't any problem with jack port or with audio. With clean install I haven't install anything about creative.

Personally, with clean install windows 10, audio works perfect!

When you say uninstall all audio drivers do you mean just the SoundBlaster one?

If so I have tried this, and this has not worked.

My headphones work, they just don't turn off the laptop's speakers when I plug them in?

Kins of annoying for people around me.
