Alienware R3 Intel HD 530 problems

Hi Group, I have a very new Alienware 15R3 which has Intel 530 HD Graphics and NVidia 1060. I have a monitor attached using the displayport. I want to assign the displayport to the Intel HD, currently it only assigns to the NVidia which is a bit of a waste as I want to connect my Vive to the HDMI out.  With me so far?

The Intel HD 530 is not being assigned to anything, not the laptop screen or the extra monitor plugged in.  I cannot get the Intel HD graphics control panel to work, only the NVidia is showing.  I have uninstalled the Intel drivers, re-installed. Tried disabling both the NVidia first but the Intel is not assigned to the laptop screen and then Intel but nothing I do works.  Everything is going through the NVidia.
