Alienware TactX Mouse CI Doesn't Recognize Mouse
I purchased the Alienware TactX Keyboard and mouse combo from Dell the other day. The keyboard and mouse both work fine however only the Keyboard CI recognizes the keyboard. The mouse CI does not. I get this message when I open the Mouse CI: "Alienware TactX Mouse CI did not detect any supported devices. Please check your connection."
I have uninstalled, re-installed until I am blue in the face. I have switched USB ports, etc. Alienware tech support wasn't very helpful as they simply told me to check the OS (Win 7 64-bit) for corrupted files in the command prompt which turned up nothing. I've only seen this problem mentioned once on Google but it was left with no solution. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
