Alienware X51 R2 Graphics Upgrade Help
Hello i have a Alienware X51 R2 with the following Specs:
4th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 processor (6MB Cache, up to 3.4GHz)
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600Mhz (2x4GB)
1TB (64MB Cache) 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s
NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 745 with 4GB DDR3
At the moment i only have a 240W AC Adaptor but I'm looking at replacing the Graphics card with a Nvida GTX 2GB 660. I understand that i might need to purchase a 330W, can any one supply me with a UK sale. Is the computer able to handle this? or can you recommend a good Graphics Card? I will eventually like to change the processor to an i7 and upgrade the ram to 16GB am i also able to do this?

I've had success with both 970 and 980 reference cards...zero issues. 330 watt power supply.

TiiTcHY1 any plastic sheeting will do...just make sure its not real thin. I picked that material up at Micheals. It is still in great shape. The heat hasn't affected it at all.
