Alienware X51 R2 Power Problems
I purchased an Alienware X51 about half a year ago, I don't use it that often but I do leave the computer idle from time to time.
As of late the fans are starting to go a bit crazy and I've had my computer crash quite a few times, as well as the wireless adapter shutting itself off. I've fixed the latter issue by disabling power saving turning it off.
My temperatures do go up sometimes, but not significant enough for the fans to be whirring that loudly.
I've done some snooping online and I suspect its a power issue. I'm still covered under warranty. My graphics card apparently needs at least 500W of power, while the current AC Adapter only has 300W. Could this be the problem?
I sent in an email to Dell support the other day and was told I'd receive a reply in 1 working day, but I haven't gotten anything yet. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,
The 330W adapter is fine, try updating the Bios to the latest here (Win10):
Let me know how it goes!

Try running a video card stress test. Follow the steps below to do this.
If you do not have Support Assist installed, click here for the download link. Let me know how high the GPU temperature goes in the stress test.
