Alienware X51 graphics card

Hi I have an Alienware X51 and was looking at re-casing it to allow a better graphics card to used with it, with some research, it looks like I'll stick with the 51 case, just for ease (and the fact I only have wifi, due to being in the army).

I still want to upgrade my graphics  card, and preferably stay with nvidia. but I'm aware of the tight fit, so whats my best bet in 2014

nvidia geforce gtx 660

intel core i7-3770 cpu i7-3770 cpu @ 3.4 ghz

Hi thanks for the speedy reply, on the benchmark link you gave me the r9 is actually clocking in below the 660. Ive noticed you sell the x51 with a 760ti, is that not an upgrade?

Hi!

As far as NVIDIA goes for this system, that's the highest quality video card supported for the X51 R1.

The next available GPU validated for this system is the AMD, Radeon R9 270. This Video Card is just above the NVIDIA GTX 660 in the Video Card Benchmarks.

The video card you currently have is the NVIDIA GTX660, which is just below the AMD R9 270. The NVIDIA GTX 660Ti is the one that's on top, but we don't currently offer that Video Card on any of our systems.

The NVIDIA GTX760 and the NVIDIA GTX760Ti are sold with the X51 R2, but they're not validated upgrades for the X51 R1.
