Alienware alpha asm100 cpu upgrade
What is the highest safe wattage for a cpu in the alpha? Want to make sure I don't burn up anything running a cpu too high

Hi,
The maximum validated CPU for the ALPHA is the i7-6700T, that uses 45W, so you will need the 180W AC Adapter.

After looking through the upgrades page for the alpha i only noticed the 130 watt one, did i miss it somewhere ? Or is it listed under something else

Is that available through dell or do I need to go through a different seller ?

Sometimes we don't have the part in the page. You can call SALES (1-866-287-6727 opt#3) or look for a DELL AC Adapter anywhere online.
