Alienware aurora mALX 19 problems
hey everyone i recently bought me this fine beast of a laptop
but it hase some isues , first thing is when i power it on it dosent boot nor dose it give me any screen lights work cd rom player works but no screen and no other sound of a machine running
anyone know what to do

Hi,
It could be a problem with the LCD screen. If possible, try connecting an external monitor using a VGA cable to confirm if you get an image on the external display.

1 more option was to reset the cmos battery but i dont know where its located

Can it be the cpu ? I tried finding a new AMD Turion 64 ML-44 but there arent any on ebay

I tried connecting to external monitor nothing happens . When i turn the laptop on all fans spin then after 3 to 4 sec everything drops dead and just the cd plays . Already tested the ram gpu,s hhd,s network adapter and cd player al are ok

Hi,
It sounds more like a problem with the GPU. Unfortunately, it may be difficult finding a replacement video card for this computer since if it one of our older models, you could try looking on different online stores.
