Alienware command center and Dell programs in general aren't opening

Recently I have been having an issue regarding Alienware command center and Dell programs like SupportAssist. Whenever i try to open them, i get an error saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000e5). Click OK to close the application." I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and using the repair feature and it hasn't worked. I even tried restoring windows 10 to a saved point and it still had that error. I need help.

Hi,

To better assist you, can you please confirm your Alienware model name/revision?

Hiya.

Firstly - Ditch support assist, ever since Dell update from AlienAutopsy to Dell support assist the new program has been average, it takes up way to much CPU and system memory and causes issues with other programs.

Second - Remove and Reinstall both command center and alienware OSD (I'm assuming you have a laptop, not a desktop) Make sure to restart the computer after each installation/uninstallation.

Third - Run CCleaner to repair and find errors in your file system.

Fourth - Make sure you have Microsoft dot net framework 3.5 and 4 installed

Hi,

Did you also try reinstalling the Command Center software or just Support Assist? Are you using this version for the Command Center?
