Alienware m15x processor intel i7 940XM Heating problem

I have a alienware m15x  and i updated the video card to nvidia gtx 660m 2 gb  and i decided to update my processor.  i updated to a intel i7 Qcore 940xm and i noticed that  from ime to time my laptop is shuting down becouse my processor is owerheating. what can i do? please i need help. the vidocard is ok .
