Alienware m17xr4 black screen and black screen also in bios

Hi fleits,

I recommend you run an ePSA diagnostic to check for hardware errors. Also, do a clean installation of the video driver as explained here and make sure the Integrated Card isn't just disabled by the FN + F7 command. 

Hi my model is alienware m17x r4  cpu : i7 363qm 2.4ghz  Gpu is : geforce gtx 675m ram :16gb

my problem is like that when i want to play some games then my screen goes black, and it will restart and sometimes not restarting, then sometimes it will restart and no picture at all only 8 beeps. In better days i can play games about 2 hours then again black screen and restart, this black screen also have been in Bios. Also i have noticed when i unplug my adapter everything seems to work cause then only integrated GPU will work, my only think is that problem is with Geforce gtx 675m gpu.

According to the No Post Beep Codes, 8 beeps usually indicate an LCD failure. In some cases, it may also be related to the video card.

Run the ePSA diagnostic as explained on the link I posted on the comment above and an AlienAutopsy gaming test. Also, do a clean installation of the video driver as explained on this article.

everything u said is done, not working this also, i will send my alienware in to the warranty, this GPU must be faulty

How can you possibly do an installation of a video driver if you can't get into Windows? I've tried everything but right after the Windows symbol it just stays black. I own an m17rx4. Thanks for any help. I can get into BIOS.

Try to access Windows on Safe Mode to re-install the video driver. 

Helo my thing is now like this, that i sended my alienware to the dell warranty in finland they have changed my gpu now two times, still doesnt work they say that both new gus are faulty or locked, so im still waiting.

Hi everyone i got my m17xr4 alienware back from dell warranty, i send it this out at 18.06 and got it 4.08 and they have changed my processor,motherboard, graphic card two times and lcd panel almost all pc have changed, so i dont know what was the real cause of all this<ADMIN NOTE: Substitute character removed as per TOU>, but it started with blue and black screens, pc just rerstarded when i played and sometimes randomly if im not playing also. So it seems to me this laptop is <ADMIN NOTE: Substitute character removed as per TOU>and i u are out of warranty nothing to do with this, its cheaper to buy a new one.
