Alienware m18x OSD application will not work, unknown device driver in manager

Question

Did a fresh install on my m18x r1 to windows 7 and all dirvers and software is installed . But I can not get the OSD driver to install. It leaves me an unknown device in the device manager and even if I try to update the driver from there, it finds the driver but fails because it was unable to download. Device APCI\CPL0002 is the device, I understand this is the OSD. I have tried installing the driver from the dell website and mit seems to unpack the drivers but nothing else. Any ideas how to get this installed?

Have you tried installing the free fall sensor as well? Are you getting an error message when you install the OSD?
