Alienware return policy? Need assistance.

Got my alienware 17 R3 (i7 6920HK / GTX 980M / 32GB RAM / 256SSD+1TBHDD / 4K display) on March 23rd.

Three weeks ago I was having problems with several games, researched it and everybody recommended a BIOS update.

And so I did. The system bricked itself because the geniuses at Dell thought it would be okay to NOT have a failsafe mode on the BIOS (like most non-commercial MoBos..."ASUS'-"Gigabyte") so I had to call Dell for support...I am in Mexico visiting family. Thankfully the warranty covers international repairs. So what did they do? They changed the MoBo for a brand new one...again. Idiotic. Waste of resources really.

So finally, I thought; that's it! Now everything will be peachy.

Nope.

The Laptop now randomly turns all USB ports off and dimms the 4K display if it isn't plugged in when gaming..I mean, pardon me but what's the point of a Laptop if I can't have it unplugged?

On top of that, the laptop started not wanting to turn on at all if it isn't plugged in.

Honestly, I'm tired of this so I figured I'll just return it. I don't need to deal with this especially when I spent 3,000 dlls on a laptop. I'd rather spend a little more and get an Origin laptop.

I searched online and saw that the return period is 21 days from the invoice date.

I am way past this...so what can I do? I will look for if it isn't possible for me to return this lemon . I will seek  action.

Thanks for reading my whiney post and for any suggestions you may have.

21 days from the ship date I believe, or receive date. One of those two. 21 days from the invoice date doesn't make sense, it can take weeks to get a build done if unlucky.

Dell generally stands firm when it comes to the return date.  You can go through Technical Support and have them replace the motherboard again or you can contact Dell-Robert P. and see if he can help you over at the Customer Care forum.  You can send him a private message by clicking here and then private message.
