Alienware x51 R2 upgrade

I have an Alienware x51 R2, and i want to  upgrade the processor from an i5 to an i7, but i don't know what processor(s) are compatible with the motherboard. Also, what other things should i think about upgrading for high setting games?

Alienware x51R2 Spec sheet:

ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_alienware_dsk/alienware-x51-r2_Reference%20Guide2_en-us.pdf

(It says you have the Haswell i5 4330 - socket 1150; please double check what you have)

Here is a list of all intel i5 cpu's:

All i7 cpu's:

Under i7, browse down to Haswell DT. You can use any Haswell 1150. Your best bet is the top-dog 4770K, (K suffix = unlocked multiplier, for ez over-clocking) Pick up a 4770k from Microcenter when they go on sale for $250, or look for a holiday sale at about that price. You'll be glad you did. It should have a higher resale value down the road also.

FYI: If you have a MicroCenter close by, they offer $30-$50 off a compatible motherboard (when purchased with a cpu) ... which you buy the cheapest compatible mthrbrd ... then re-sell it new never-used on eBay for a $30-$50 profit, which drops the final price on your i7 ... that's what I did when I got mine ... soooo righteous ... :)
