Aurora R3 CPU upgrade...NEED HELP!

i purchased my R3 with the i5-2300 sandy bridge cpu, I am installing a i7-2600k. I know how to remove the cpu/water cooling and install the new chip but am not sure if I have to change any settings in the BIOS or update any drivers. Can anyone shed some light on what I would have to do??? What do i need to do in the BIOS to keep all the stock CPU settings (without OC turbo boost) OR

what to change if I was going to OC the turbo boost to what Alienware would have done if I purchased the system with the i7-2600k originally

NEED YOUR HELP GUYS... I would be most appreciative if someone who knows about this could help...

and if you could let me know which thermal paste would u guys recommend(thinking MX-2 or Artic Silver 5)
