Why it happens, no idea. Try this work around.

* Turn the computer off
* Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the computer
* Press and hold the computer power button for 30 seconds
* Reconnect the power cord to the computer
* Turn the computer on and boot all the way into windows
* Click Start- Shutdown- Restart- OK
* Press F12 and try to run the Diagnostics
