Aurora R4 ALX GTX 690 idle temp

Right, so after moving my desktop around i see that my 690's idle temps are reaching 55-60 Degrees celcius. I called tech support but they just kept saying it's fine and that i should not worry. I want someone to confirm that this won't damage my card in the long run.

Abbegameplay,

Toms Hardware reports 43°C idle, 78°C load. Hardcopy reports 42°C idle, 83°C load. Of course those are retail video cards. The Dell OEM GeForce GTX 690 maximum GPU temperature is 98°C. Our clocks are as follows for comparison to the retails:
Graphics Base Clock = 915MHz
Graphics Boost Clock = 1019MHz
Have you powered off, opened the R4 case, blown out all the dust on the GTX690 and all other system fans?

Will read it when i have time, but i have one more question: are these idle temps dangerous for the card?

Yes, i have opened the case and there was some dust on the system fan. However i do not know how to detach that panel thingy in front of the graphics card so i can't see if there is any dust there. Can you tell me how to open that panel and the best method to remove dust, Thanks

I don't think so, why would they be? Also, max temps are just as important.

Be sure fans, heat-sinks, and radiators are clean and working.

You can adjust fans on card as well as case's PCIe Fan to bring in more front cool air.

When you moved computer ... if you added a second monitor, your idle temps will now be higher because of driving two.

There wasn't any dust that i could see at least... Oh well, i guess i'll just keep using it as normal until something happens. The load temps gets up to the mid 80's but i read those are normal temps. Thanks.

I just noticed that when i start the pc the temps are at 45 and then it just starts climbing until it reaches the high 50's. the fans are running at 40%.

I don't really know much about pc components except the specs of it....  (feeling like a retard while writing this). But what are the heat-sinks and radiators?

This is my i bought alienware and didn't build my own rig... it would just explode when i try to start it

(Oh, and i apologize for my spelling, I'm swedish and you get answers faster here at american forums :P)

Edit: i just noticed that the card is always running at max clock speeds :?
