Aurora R4 Audio output not working, help!

Hello all,

For two days now i've been trying all sorts to try and get the Line Out 3.5mm Audio working on my Aurora R4. 

Long-Story-Short, I had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 due to a dying Primary SSD, Since the fresh install, no matter what drivers/combination of drivers I get for the Sound card (SB XFI Titanium) I just can't get the 3.5mm Line Out at the back of the PC OR the front of the PC to output sound. 

I tried a bunch of different versions of drivers from the dell support pages, most resulted in the PC not recognising that my headphones were connected at all, some of the drivers recognised they were plugged in and I could see when I hit "test" in playback devices that its internally making sound as seen with the green EQ bar visually behaving as i'd expect but no sound is coming out of my speakers/headphones then either....

Ok that was a little bit longer than shorter, however - has anyone experienced this and know how to fix? I'm running out of ideas quickly.
