[Aurora R4] SATA port problem
I've swapped a HD yesterday and to copy stuff from the old one to the new one I had to take a drive out of bay 4.
I've got everything in place again now but port 4 isn't recognized by Windows 10 anymore.
I've taken it out a couple of times, tried a different HD but all to no avail. I then switched the SATA plug from bay 3 to port 4 on the mainboard thinking maybe the cable was faulty. But nope, bay 3 also doesn't work when plugged into port 4 on the mainboard.
I then checked the bios, assuming port 4 might be damaged but the bios sees the HD inserted in port 4 without any problems. So if the bios sees the HD, why doesn't Windows see it? I've tried HWinfo as well but nothing in Windows reports an HD in bay 4.
Please help!

Have you checked the disk management? Did you install the IRST driver?

Already solved it!
But it's still strange. When I change the drive letters of my optical drives, Windows seems to do something when rebooting and then showing the hard drive as normal. After that I can set the optical drives back to their previous drive letter and it's OK.
I've also tried it with the other SATA ports and it behaves the same way. Strange...
