If you go to the AURORA R4 support page, you'll find the drivers are filtered by OS: Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. If you wan't to download any drivers or software, just make sure you choose the correct OS.
The latest Command Center 3.5 supports all 3 operating systems. Windows 8.1 is a free upgrade from Windows 8, you can download it directly from the Windows Store.
