Backlight Bleeding in my Alienware 17 R4

Thanks! I sent my laptop to Dell for repair. It just arrived today. I'll check and update.

So same issue or not! Please let me know!

I think is time that everyone that has purchase this machine, start calling Alienware\Dell and start complaining about the poor LCD Quality on their top of the line gaming notebook. This flaw is been there for too long, and they keep selling this unit without fixing the flaw.

They must extend the warranty on all this units, fix the design flaw, and replace or exchange when the flaw is fix. Not Depot, replacement!

Here's the review for mine:- They were supposed to replace my LCD panel and speakers but replaced only the former. I mentioned all the issues in the repair form and still they ignored.- I can still see the backlight bleed- A new problem has come up after the first repair. The Alien FX light for the 11th part (one on the right edge of the monitor) shows mixed colors for plain color settings- I've sent my laptop again for repair.Really disappointed with the service

I just received my laptop from the second service. They fixed nothing! The light and bleeding issues are still there

I've just made an exchange request. Let's see how that works. I'll update you once that's done.
