I have ordered an alienware aurora with 3gb of 1067 RAM and I was wondering if I were to ever want to add more RAM what type and speed should I add based on the current motherboards used in the auroras? Also since there are at least 3 types of 1333 DDR3 memory what PC3 should I use for an alienware aurora or does it not matter? PC3 10600, PC3 10660, or PC3 10666? Also if I want to go slower would 1066 DDR3 be ok even though it coes with 1067? And one last question if I were to buy 6 gigs of 1066 would it be ok to put it with the existing 1067 and still have proper triple channeling?

I believe you need to go at least to 1333Mhz if you want to overclock.  I am interested though in what the three times you mention are?  10600, 10660, and 10666.  Or is that just 1067Mhz, 1333Mhz, and 1600Mhz ?

I was thrown off when I noticed the 3 different times as well when I saw them in the search option on new egg, they are all 1333.

You may definately want to replace the malaysian made junk memory that comes with your aurora, ive only  had my aurora for 3 months and the ram  has already failed. I got a bsod last week and said it was bad header pool or something and turned out to be due do the memory. I replaced it with some from crucial and everything is running fine. Hopefully this dont happen again!!!
