Boot manager error after Windows install. F8 on startup does not work.
Used alienrespawn recovery media to install windows clean (factory setup). install completed, reboot, got boot manager error 0x000000f. Tried rebooting and F8 to get to system recovery options to rebuild BCD. F8 does not work. Only F2 and F12 work (bios and boot sequence). any thoughts?

There is a big possibility that windows got corrupted, I will recommend you to perform a clean installation of windows instead of using the Alienrespawn.

Is AlienRespawn not a clean windows install? I also tried a non-Del windows dvd and it worked- but a lot of devices were not recognized.
