CPU pump failed (Aurora R4)
Hi!Around 10 days ago, after bios update, the alienware command center showed CPU pump failed. I found a possible solution (remove all peripherals, hold power button for 20-30 sec and reinstall Alienware command center (clean install). I tried and it worked.
I week ago i formatted the pc, i installed fresh windows 8 enterprise, with latest drivers. The pump was running. I didn'turn on the pc for a week, and today i turned it on, and the pump is FAILED again.
The temperature of CPU is very good (in idle the max is 36 C with i7 3820), but the command center indicates 0 C for two sensors, and 65 C for the 3st sensor. I'm worried about that.
Please help.

Hello Johannesynt!
And have you tried to uninstall the command center again? There could be a problem with the firmware so can follow the steps on this article one by one and let me know if the issue persist.

Ok, i tired, and i intalled new bios A10.
After reinstalled net framework and ACC, at first, the pump was running, but one sensors was 0 C, and when i changed some colors in alienfx, the real colors remained blue (default). So i reboot the pc, and now all seems to work.
I hope it will not happen again.

The iusse is back. And I'm with windows 8 (not 8.1)...so, for win8 there are all drivers. Can you take a look at this screenshot? I tried to install speedfan to verify speed fan, and how you can see, Alienware Command center shows very different value (sure wrong values). I tried to open the pc, and if a put a finger on pump's tube, i can feel liquid flowing, so i think the pump is running. but i'd like to have e working software from Alienware. How can I trust in my pc, when its software has these iusses? The screenshot:

You have posted in an ancient thread. A new thread might be in order.
Do you have an Area-51 R1 or R2 or x51-R3 ?
Search this forum for keywords Asetek, Liquid Cooler, MIO-Board, Command Center ... and see my featured content and Bookmarks.
