Can't adjust display brightness on Alienware 13 R3
So the display brightness adjustment worked when the machine first arrived. But later when I reinstalled the Windows system, it fails on every attempt. The Fn key + F9 / F10 doesn't work, the AlienFusion or battery management neither, not even in Windows action center or settings.
I try the graphics card driver provided by both Dell and Nvidia but nothing is changing. Reinstalling the OSD driver isn't helping at all. Just can't find what causes the problem.
Could anyone please help me out on this? It drains my unplugged battery crazily.

Ok, I managed to fix this, but not sure why.
I removed the OLED driver from Windows Device Manager (and chose to uninstall driver)
Then I installed the latest Intel HD530 graphics drivers (from Intel directly).
After reboot it was fixed.
I hope this helps.

I'm also having the same problem - on a fresh install of Windows 10 with the newest drivers all installed.

I'm having the same problem. Feels like I'be tried everything. Old drivers, new drivers, no drivers. Nothing helps. I am getting an error when installing the OLED driver, but cannot figure out why.
