Command Center not installing & error on boot

Hey guys,

I recently reinstalled win7 on my M17x R4 (following the install order from another post).

All seemed to be worked well, until it started giving me this error after windows loaded yesterday:

System.Management.ManagementException: Invalid class
at System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode)
at System.Management.ManagementEventWatcher.Start()
at AlienLabs.AlienFX.DeviceDiscovery.Classes.DeviceWatcherClass.Start()
at AlienLabs.AlienFX.DeviceDiscovery.ObjectFactory.NewAlienFXDeviceDiscovery()
at AlienLabs.AlienFX.Tester.TesterMainForm..ctor()
at AlienLabs.AlienFX.Tester.App.AppStartup(Object sender, StartupEventArgs args)

Have been unable to install or uninstall Command Center as it gets stuck at "Removing Backup Files stage. Tried doing the manual remove (regedit + CCleaner + deleting remaining files) but I still end up stuck at removing backup files. Have reintsalled MS Net multiple times as well.

Can anybody help me out and shed some light on what I need to? Havelready disabled/ unistalled antivirus but all still to no avail.

Appreciate any help greatly!

Thanks

Hi!

Try to run a repair first. Go to Control Panel/ Programs and Features, right click on Command Center and choose Uninstall and then Repair.

If issue persists, follow the steps on Solution#2 of this article. To uninstall the Command Center, try to do it from Safe Mode and the make sure to re-install it in the same order specified in the article.

Let me know how it goes!
