Fast Access is software that uses the webcam to do facial recognition to login to the computer. I have tried it on other Dell computers and it is pretty glitchy. IMHO, don't waste money on the full upgrade as it doesn't make it work any better.
What usually worked for me was to disable it, log out, log in, re-enable.

What do you mean with fast access? Is it fast boot on the BIOS or a setting in the operating system?
