Flickering Screen Display for Alienware m14x

This is the worst case scenario (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24sRyZmhuX8) of what's been happening to my laptop. After a motherboard switch, the screen started to flicker. So the cause may be the motherboard however the first thought was that it was the display screen however this isn't the case. Had a technician come out to replace the screen however that didn't help. It might of made it worst actually. Having similar problems like this YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtKKasMfOKg).

Called Dell and they're sending a technician (have to wait another week pretty much), to replace the motherboard. Has anyone else had similar problems like this one?
