Fooling Aliens, My Understanding and CC 3.6 on Non-Dell Board

Hello fellow Aliens,

I have a curious question about Command Center 3.6.

It is said that for those who doesn't use Alienware mobo, you'll need to use 2.08XXX as the newer ones do not work.

Therefore after reading posts, I have devised a plan to fool Alienware CC.

In this thread, How to Install Command Center for a Non-Alienware Motherboard | Alienware Owners Forum  , one reader went into problem in that he couldn't enter Windows.

According to the post on the link and the comparison between the failure and the guide, my understanding says one should:

1. Export a copy of original Alienware BIOS Registry Entries and save their non Dell original BIOS Registry copy.

2. Download but do not Install CC yet.

3. Replace their registry entries with an Alien clone.

4. Install CC (Do not trigger system restart).

5. Restore the original BIOS registry.

6. Reboot system

Now, do I miss any steps in here? If so, please correct me as I will appreciate that a lot.

Can I manually modify the BIOS keys? Instead of looking for an elusive copy of Aurora R4 BIOS.

I plan to manually change the blue ones to Alienware-related things while leaving the red ones intact. Does this work?
