GTX 1080 FE stress test, is it normal?
Hello,
I was running a stress test on gtx 1080 FE, I was getting this strange sound (it's like an old dot-matrix printer sound). Is it normal? I used a dell stress test.
Normally, it is not making that, it is almost silent, but when you put some hard calculation on it .... Before contacting a dell support, I want to take your advise if you have a same graphic card.

It seems they all make some noise when stressed to maximum. Read through these threads.

Per the warranty, you may initiate a video card exchange. Test the replacement before sending any video card back to Dell. If the replacement video card does not have the issue, keep it and send us the original video card. If the replacement video card has the same issue, then we can presume that all of the Dell will have this noise when stressed to maximum.

My Asus GTX1080fe also have this high fequency noise, but I think this is nVidia's problem.
