Graphics Amplifier help
Just installed a new GTX970 in the graphics amplifier and the games and FPS are worse than before - help! I have an X51 R3 and the card i installed is an EVGA Nvidia GTX 970 SSC ACX Cooling 2.0 4 GB Graphics Card
The system runs and my machine sees both the cards - but it's running Crysis 3 really choppy 20-30fps and Far Cry 4 which was running at 60fps on very high - is now about 20 fps and freezing with the new card -
What am i doing wrong?

Is your monitor connected to the Amplifier? Did you install the driver for you card in the Amplifier or the card in the machine?
Is it seeing the Intel and the GTX 970?

Yes, I have 2 monitors connected to the GA and the system boots and recognises both cards (the 960 and 970), however when in a game the sound starts breaking up and the frame rate drops to unplayable.

I'm not sure i understand what you're suggesting here.
I have installed the 970 drivers and uninstalled the 960 drivers, but it seems to be using the internal card.
Should I remove the 960 completely (it's still in the X51) while the 970 is in the Amplifier

Did you install the driver for you card in the Amplifier or the card in the machine? You should use the one inside the machine and install it twice (with and without the Amplifier)
